Trainspotting holidays

Book your seat on the vintage carriage for a sensational ride on the Vale of Rheidol. The journey takes you through stunning scenery from Cardigan Bay to the Cambrian Mountains. The station is only a short walk from Tynrhyd.

Came with 24 British and Czech Republic soldiers prior to starting the notorious Cambrian Patrol. Needless to say, the guys got a much better rest prior to setting off here than the original plan of using a farmers’ field! Many thanks

Our fantastic Ramblers Cymru Big Welsh Walk/Hinterland Challenge was made even more special by the great facilities and accommodation at Tynrhyd Retreat, and the warm welcome and hospitality of our hosts Sian and Gareth and their family.
